Re-roof Project Totally Upgraded with REACH Systems

Two REACH Systems solved the massive pitchpan problems for 5 pieces of equipment.

Regular equipment maintenance and retrofits will be easier without concern over the roof penetration.

The cooling efficiency will be increase, just by removing the copper lines from the thermally challenged tar pitchpans. The tar raised the outside temperature of the copper lines which would defeat the equipment efficiency.

The electrical conduit and safety disconnects can be replaced with each retrofit, preventing fire hazards on rooftops from broken and cracked electrical wiring.

The disconnects are mounted directly to the Hub maintaining watertight integrity and keeping compliance with all building codes.

A GFI outlet has been installed on both REACH Systems for freon recovery, which also meets building codes associated with refrigerants.

A roof-jack with a storm collar is used to seal the REACH Channel at the roofline. This is a preferred method of sealing roof penetrations by roofing contractors.

Also, this customer won't be plagued with roof penetrations that leak constantly, since the REACH Channels allow for a proper seal.

Overall, the customer and the contractors were very pleased with this installation. More REACH Systems were ordered for a 2nd job, immediately.

The Contractors stated the cross-trade coordination saved time using the REACH System
