Roof Equipment Access Connection Hub

The REACH is a Roof Equipment Access and Connection Hub
The primary function of a REACH System is to transport the MEP Services (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) for equipment operation to the rooftop. Mounting and connection for the ancillary components (such as GFI, disconnects and motor starters) is provided on this bulkhead.
REACH uses industry standard weatherproof connectors for all types of conduit, tubing and cable for rooftop installations. The REACH should be used for both new and retrofit installations.
Hub
The Hub portion of our system is a specially designed enclosure. Different hubs for different rooftop equipment applications, such as HVAC, refrigeration and hood systems. The Hub provides a bulkhead mounting system making the REACH an all-in-one companion for rooftop equipment. In addition, each hub comes with a built-in GFI (as required by EPA for refrigeration recovery). The Hub has a flange mount to attach to the Channel. This flange can also be permanently sealed to the Channel.
Channel
The Channel is an open raceway that encompasses the various conduit, cables and tubing required for rooftop equipment. The Channel extends from the interior of the building, through a hole in the roof, to the building's exterior. It provides a solid surface for adherence of standard roofboot of the penetration on the rooftop. The Hub is extended above the rooftop, resolving many issues, including; refrigerant oil loops, ease of access for equipment maintenance and replacement of conduit. The Channel accepts EMT conduit and insulated tubing to pass through unharmed and pre-bent for easy installation. A standard PVC cap can provide weather tight integrity during the construction phase.
Mount
The Mounting system attaches securely to the building's rafters making the REACH System part of the building structure. It consists of two rails which span between rafters that are attached top and bottom with specially designed mounting clamps. This Mounting System allows the REACH to be virtually anywhere on the rooftop, not only next to a rafter. Each rail can handle up to 900 lbs, making the REACH a part of the building structure.
Cross-trade Collaboration
The REACH System is designed to work efficiently within the construction trade using a System Design approach. It can be installed and accessed by multiple-trades (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Roofing) in conjunction with the phases of a construction project.
The REACH System remains intact for years and will allow access by any single-trade during a retrofit of rooftop equipment or re-roofing / tear-off project, as well as regular maintenance of equipment. The Equipment can be detached from power or refrigerant lines and pumped-down without interfering with the REACH Channel or Mount (the roof penetration). Then the equipment can be replaced and re-hooked to power and refrigeration lines at the Hub.
